It took longer than a year for me, and the first year was definitely the hardest. And oh, so true about the "invisible disability" - when everybody thinks you're "back to normal" because they have no idea how hard you are working to BE normal!

As the mum of a special needs child i can totally understand the frustration at the 'invisible disability'

Coming to terms with all that has changed in your life is the most difficult & as it's not "stamped on your forehead" people you meet don't "get it"!! I know from my own experience,having a fractured skull is similar. But,you are still with us & that's the most important thing for me. Love you xxxx
