I've got a few minutes so I thought I'd show you what's making me smile these days. First off, I'd been on the lookout for a cheap "Bind it all", and a sweet friend (hi Maria!) pointed me in the direction of someone who had one for sale. I'm happy because I managed to nab it for only £20 although they retail at about £50!
This is what it looks like:
It's a fab little machine for making wire-bound books and other projects. Can't wait to get going on that...Another thing that is making me smile today is something I found whilst doing an online grocery shop. I never usually look at the ice cream section, but I did this time (naughty!) and found this - if you know me well, you'll know why it made me smile. I think it was a little hello from someone "up there":
Last but not least a photo that I was sent today, showing my parents and 3 oldest siblings, taken back in 19(cough - mumble) on their front doorstep in France. How cute is that? My dad would have been 30 and my mum 25!! Actually, I think my dad looks very much like my brother N in this picture:
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I LOVE OLD PHOTOS :) They make me happy.
Hope you are having a happy day where you are too!
I'm so glad your mentioned your post on my blog, so I could have the chance to visit! I agree ... old photos make me very, very happy.
I'm so glad you are telling your survival story too!

Don't see it myself. I think N looks a lot more like Mummy! Looking forward to seeing you this weekend...
