How I love Sundays! I went out this morning to the Tesco Express down the road to buy some ingredients we were missing, and picked up the Easy Living magazine with a Cath Kidston toilet bag on the cover. Pretty! I would have tried to put a picture of it here if I'd thought to take one when it was still light. On top of that, our PC is playing up and has decided to close programmes unexpectedly when you upload or download a photo, so I'm slightly stuck at the moment for pictures. I think it might be something to do with the RAM, as we've used all the anti-virus tools at our disposal. I sound like I know what I'm talking about, don't I? LOL.
Today was a lazy day. I'm not sure if it's the medicine for the arthritis or the arthritis itself, but I was pooped (again) after shopping and putting dinner in the oven. It's not like it was that taxing, so I'm feeling rather frustrated at my lack of energy. The boyf reckons it's lack of iron and keeps telling me he's going to serve me up a glass of Guinness, ha ha. He's gone to spend the weekend with his mama, but not before setting Claire up with her old laptop which he managed to get going again - a nice surprise for her. He also mended our ethernet connection for the internet on the PC so she could use the dongle to access the internet from the laptop. Isn't he sweet? To repay him, as Claire was a bit insomniac last night, she went on Amazon and used some of her leftover Christmas voucher money to buy him a memory card for his new camera. I'm so pleased that they get on so well - it makes me happy.
In other news, we got an email from Claire's Godmother Marie-Laure with pictures of her new granddaughter, Axelle, born 1st May in Madrid. She is such a cutie, and I can't believe Aurore is old enough to actually have a baby; last time I saw her she was probably not even 10 years old! Time flies, doesn't it? I'm very pleased to be in touch with Marie-Laure again. There's a lot of history there that my family know about, but to cut a long story short we used to get on very well and we've had a long talk and there's a lot of water under that particular bridge...
The moral of the story? Life's too short to bear grudges. Wishing you all a pleasant and peaceful Bank Holiday. Nite!!
Night Jen. You know I havent any energy either. As soon as I sit down on the sofa Im away with the fairies :)
