Brrr!

Goodness it's cold here today!  But I was very clever and put my PJs and socks on a radiator this morning, so when I got in from the doctor's tonight, I got changed out of my work clothes and it was BLISS to slip on the warmed up jim jams. I think I will do this every day this winter.
So I'm sitting here catching up on my emails etc, listening to a programme on the Queen's coronation with one ear, and trying to ignore the amount of paperwork there is sitting on the dresser. I will get round to it one day. Maybe not this weekend though - I'm helping with the exams at the hospital again, only this time the money is going to be much better. There are 16 candidates instead of the usual 10, so I expect we won't finish till mid-afternoon at the earliest.  It couldn't come at a better time, as I have hardly started my Christmas shopping yet.
I'm going to ask for lots of positive thoughts and vibes, because DD has seen that Venture are hiring in our local store. They need a receptionist, an appointments booker AND a trainee photographer, so fingers crossed! Of course, she really wants the photographer job, but she'd be a receptionist as a way to get a foot in the door....
