Day 2...

... of Flylady.  It was lovely coming down to a clean, shiny sink, I'll tell you that for nothing!
Anyway, the promised snow didn't come, apart from a flurry this morning on the way to work; so it turns out I wore my boots for nothing. Shame!  I'll be quick, because I've just spent a couple of hours uploading photos to a stock website to make extra pennies, and then a good half hour doing the grocery shopping with my list from savingdinner dot com (I've gone for the "body clutter" menus, as DD and I need to drop a few pounds).  I've used the website before, and it's very good.  They do menus AND shopping lists, so all you have to do is follow the instructions, but I have to do a bit of re-jigging as we don't eat some of the foods on it... The price of this week's shopping, which includes most lunches, is not much more than I'd usually spend without the list, and I'll usually have missed the lunches too, so I'm hoping it'll end up cheaper this way.  I've also ordered a crockpot/slow cooker because they often make suggestions for stews and soups that you can chuck in and leave for hours, which is my kind of cooking! 
So now I'm off to clean my sink again, and to get a good night's sleep.
