Ok, so I got the date wrong. My hospital appointment was today (lucky I checked then). I saw the surgeon and he has confirmed that the wound is healing very nicely, but best of all, that there was no evidence of any cancer at all in what they removed. How fantastic is that? I know the odds were good, but still, there was that 10% chance it could have been malignant, so I'm just thrilled and relieved to know that everything is ok.
DD and I are going to sit down and watch a film now, so "Peace out" everyone. May you all have some good news today!!!
