There should be more days like this one! First of all, I was getting nervous about having my little chat with my boss, but it turns out he IS happy with me. Just a couple of little things to tweak - one of which is stay late on the days he has board meetings, whereas before he said if I'm in a meeting and it's 5.30 then you can leave! Make your mind up.... Anyway, he's happy, I'm happy :)
Then, Scotty from the NY office brought me my Mary Jane Crocs. They don't sell them in the UK yet. They are an acquired taste but OH SO COMFORTABLE!!! I got brown - wish I'd got some funky bright colour now, but hey, I'll be able to wear them more I expect.
Then, I got home to find that my advent swap parcel has arrived. 25 beautifully wrapped packages with a number on each one, and I want to start opening them now. Claire said "do I have to hide them??" in a very serious tone :) No, I'll be strong... I think. I hope the girl who got my parcel is equally excited!
Oh and I also got post telling me about the little girl I'm sponsoring. Her name is Laura and she's from San Salvador. I'm not allowed to divulge anything more than that, but she is so cute! Here's her picture:
So, all in all a good day. Hope yours was too.
She is so sweet - glad things at work are sorting themselves out and I love the Mary Jane's

Good for you for sponsoring Laura. She does look beautiful, and her life will be all the better for the goodness of people like you, Jen. :)

Not a croc fan myself but I quite like the Mary Jane look (much nicer than the norm!).
Laura is a very pretty girl, I'm sure your support will make a world of difference to the life she can now lead.

As a result of your blog I have undertaken to sponsor a child too in Burkina Fasu. I am waiting for details too. Thanks for letting me know about this wonderful organisation.
