Happy because of my dear online friends. Today I received 2 RAKs (random acts of kindness). One, I have since discovered, from Jaffers, who sent me a Tesco voucher with the order "buy cake" - which I fully intend to do - and the second from Clare in Northumberland who sent me a gorgeous collection of rubons and ribbons and flowers with some paper bags so I can make a paper bag book. I seriously have to download some instructions on how to do so, because I've never attempted one! I was in tears of gratitude and joy this morning.
Sad because I heard today that I haven't been shortlisted for the job I really wanted, because the company think I'll get bored! Evidently my cv listed too much super, high-flying experience. You just can't win! I have emailed the agency back to say I'm really disappointed, and hoping they can talk the company round, but it would appear to be a futile exercise because the HR woman has made up her mind about me. It's a shame, because after 5 years in a highly stressful role, I can't think of anything I'd like more than a "quiet" PA role. The place was even the easiest commute out of all the jobs I've been for so far, which was a huge plus. *sigh* T'was not to be.
Oh Jen! what a bugger. Onwards to the perfect job..... Glad at least our rak attack hit on a day you needed a bit extra joy xx

Sorry to hear about the job! I'm sure it's all for a reason. Just believe that something amazing will come your way soon as it will, you deserve it! ;)
Hugs to you

That is a pain! You try your hardest to present yourself in the best possible way on your cv and this happens! Keep on going.
